Just when going to bed last night I got an email from MetaWatch with information that Firmware 1.3 was now finished and officially available. So first thing this morning I downloaded and updated my MetaWatch Strata with the new version. Upgrade process went on without any issues (first time for me) and the week to come will show what is really improved.

- Initialization changes to help stability
- Optimization of radio power level
- Optimization of flash memory writing for common options
- Return to Bluetooth Sniff mode faster

So after struggling with battery life with 1.3 for a while I reverted back to 1.2 and everything is good again. Waiting for an updated firmware from MetaWatch.
